How many credits are your courses worth?
Most of our courses are designed to be equivalent to 0.5 high school elective credits, though this can vary based on your school or state requirements. If you’re submitting the course for credit, we recommend confirming with your school or program how they calculate hours.
We’re happy to provide course outlines to help with the process.
Does each course come with a certificate of completion?
Yes, all of our courses include a certificate of completion. It’s downloadable and can be added to your portfolio or homeschool records.
Are these courses video or text-based?
Our courses use a mix of video and written content, depending on what works best for the topic.
Some lessons are heavy on video, while others include clear text explanations and printable resources. We combine formats to keep things engaging and easy to understand.
Do I get a physical book with the course?
No printed book is included, but all course materials can be downloaded and saved. You’ll also get lifetime access, so you can revisit the content anytime.
Are there required tests and passing grades?
Yes, each course includes at least one test, and some have multiple. A passing grade of 70% is required to earn a certificate, but we’re happy to customize that if needed, just let us know.
Are these courses online, live, or in person?
All of our courses are fully online, on-demand, and self-paced. You can start anytime and learn at your own speed.
What age are these courses suitable for?
Our courses are designed for a wide range of ages. We offer fun, beginner-friendly programs like Young Horse Explorers for kids as young as 6 years old, all the way up to in-depth, science-based courses for middle and high school students, and even advanced content for aspiring professionals and adults.
Whether your learner is just starting out or preparing for a future in equine care, we have something for every stage.
How do I get approved to use your courses with my school or education provider?
We have a strong track record of being accepted when reviewed by school or governing bodies. Many families have successfully submitted our course information to their school district, homeschool evaluator, or scholarship program and received full approval.
To make the process easier, we’ve created a template you can download and send to your administrator or provider. If you need anything else, just reach out and we’ll be happy to help.
Are these courses approved for state scholarship or ESA programs?
We’re actively working with several major states to become an approved vendor through their education savings and scholarship programs. We’re already approved on ClassWallet/Odyssey for use in several states like Arizona, Wyoming, Utah and Louisiana and more are coming soon.

Are these courses approved for use in Australia, New Zealand and Canada?
While there isn’t one central education authority in Australia, New Zealand or Canada, each state/province has its own homeschool registration requirements.
We have many students from these countries and our courses have a strong track record of being accepted when families include them in their education plan. If you’d like help submitting our courses to your state/province authority, just email us and we’re happy to assist.
